Acquired cause
- The way of CSF has narrowed or blocked by infection, hemorrhage or tumor.
- Bleeding in ventricle leads to blocking of ventricle.
- Meningitis causes membrane to inflammate, so CSF circulation is not conducted properly.
- Damage of head causes bleeding or inflammation, and both of them block CSF circulation.
- Brain tumor blocks CSF circulation.
